Software name: D-Compress v1.2 Executable: DCompress.exe, compiled for Windows XP,Vista,7,10 Reason for the "Exception EConvert Error" This error is due to the fact that your computer is set up to have a decimal separator different from a dot (e.g., 27,39 instead of 27.39). I had to take a decision when programming the software and I used the American convention instead of the European one. To change that in Windows 7, open the "Control Panel", select "Region & Languages". On the "Formats" tab, click on "Additional Settings..." to open the "Customize Formats" windows. On the "Numbers" tab, change the Decimal symbol from "," to "." and the Digit Grouping symbol to "," (Comma). To change that in Windows 10, open "PC settings", search for the panel "Region", click on "Additional date, time & regional settings", then on "Change data, time, or number format". On the "Formats" tab, click on "Additional Settings..." to open the "Customize Formats" windows. On the "Numbers" tab, change the Decimal symbol from "," to "." and the Digit Grouping symbol to "," (Comma). Beware, however, that this setting affects all Windows programs. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change this setting just for D-Compress, so you may have to switch between comma and dot if you have installed other applications that require a comma.
