Rencontres Montagnes & Sciences
The Rencontres Montagnes & Sciences were initiated in 2014 by Eric Larose, CNRS researcher at the Institut des Sciences de la Terre (ISTerre) and Maurine Montagnat, CNRS researcher at the Institut des Géosciences et de l’Environnement (IGE). A unique event in France, this festival invites the general public and schoolchildren to discover original films of scientific exploration in mountain and extreme environments.
