The 2013 congress of the laboratory’s doctoral students was held on June 18 and 19 in Roissard, Isère. This is an opportunity for these thesis students to present their work in a pleasant and friendly environment. This 2013 edition brought together about fifty participants, doctoral students but also researchers and permanent engineers.

Discover two engineers from ISTerre’s Risk team, Lionel Darras and Julien Turpin, in the field during the maintenance of a seismological station at the Chamousset site in the south of the Vercors. Zakaria Ghazoui, PhD student at ISTerre, is the winner of the first ever Communicate Your Science Video Competition 2015. His video shows his investigation in Himalayan lakes using sediment cores.

In a new series of educational french videos proposed by Emilie Janots and Carole Cordier, teacher-researchers at ISTerre, you’ll discover the incredible history of Chamrousse’s peaks and the exceptional nature of this geological heritage.
