Tectonique, Reliefs et Bassins

Notre objectif principal est de comprendre les couplages et les rétroactions entre tectonique (à l’échelle crustale et lithosphérique), climat et érosion, de l’échelle du cycle sismique à l’échelle de la dizaine de millions d’année. Notre démarche commune est d’acquérir des données quantitatives sur le terrain (tectonique, sédimentologie, échantillonnage, GPS, Géophysique) et en laboratoire (thermochronologie, pétrologie, géochimie, paléontologie), qui sont susceptibles d’être modélisées, amenant à une meilleure compréhension des paramètres physiques contrôlant la formation et la destruction des reliefs, puis l’enregistrement dans les bassins.

Les moyens et outils de l’équipe sont rassemblés dans la Plateforme Géo-thermo-chronologie (GTC)
