Alpes PCM Environnement is a startup in material and environmental geosciences, created by Antoine Géhin.

Antoine Géhin worked at ISTerre (University of Grenoble Alpes) as post-doc scientist, from 2003 to 2016, after completing a PhD program in Physical Chemistry (University of Lorraine).

His research focuses on the study of iron compounds (oxides and oxyhydoxides, Green Rust, magnetite) and geochemical processes taking place in natural environments. He investigates specifically geochemical mechanisms affecting the fate of iron, heavy metals, trace elements and radionuclides in soils and aquifers.

He has various experiences of collaboration with national authorities (e.g., Nuclear Waste Management Agencies) and private companies, as well as within international research programs (FP 6 and FP7).

His present projects focus on the effect of new contaminants (e.g. nanoparticles and organic molecules) and on the keyrole of important environmental actors, such as calcite, clay and biochars (soil improvement, waste management, mitigation of climate change).
