I am a postdoc with the SEISCOPE consortium, working on application of 3D Full-waveform Inversion (FWI) of ocean bottom node (OBN) data acquired in the North Sea.

I received my undergraduate degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur) in Geophysics and then worked as an on-board seismic-data processor for Schlumberger for two years. I then went to grad school at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM). For my PhD, I worked on FWI in 2D elastic VTI media. I investigated the application of constraints on FWI for delineating reservoir properties, while as a postdoc for a year at CSM following my PhD.
