Short bio

I defended my PhD in computer science in 2000. It was about learning formal languages for modeling natural languages. The formal language we were interested in was the class of probabilistic deterministic automata.

I also worked on structured information retrieval (i.e. studying how information retrieval can be improved when documents have strong structure, like e.g. xml documents).

In 2009, I then join the MRIM team (in the LIG lab, Grenoble) and work on multimedia information retrieval. I was part of the quaero team that participate to the TrecVid challenge.

In 2011, I join the LEAR team in INRIA for one year, working on image processing.

I then worked with two private companies : a start up (deltadrone), and a big company (ST microelectronics).

I then came back to the academic world, joining the AMA team (LIG lab, Grenoble) and worked on timeseries.

I now work at ISTerre, and is involved in Sar image processing.
