Mathilde RADIGUET

I am researcher (Physicienne adjointe des Observatoires) in the "Fault Mechanics" group.
My research interest are the following:

  • Aseismic processes (slow slip events) and relation with seismic observations (non-volcanic tremors)
  • Frictionnal processes at different scales (lab earthquakes, faults)
  • Modelling of aseismic processes using inversion of geodetic data
  • Detection and localisation of small aseismic deformations
  • Dynamic rupture models
  • Source mechanics

Biography

I studied Geophysics at Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris, France for my bachelor and Master. During my master thesis I worked on the relations between earthquake ground motions and fault characteristics at ISTerre (Grenoble, France), under the supervision of F. Cotton, I. Manighetti and M. Campillo.
I obtained my PhD in Geophysics from the University of Grenoble, France, in the Institut des Sciences de la Terre (ISTerre). There, I studied a specific mode of fault rupture, the slow slip (…)
