Outline
I am working on the development of quantitative geophysical imaging and/or monitoring methods with a focus on a multiphysics approach to better understand some environmental and/or geological processes occurring in the critical zone marked by a strong socio-economic impact.

Regarding the multiphysics approach, the main developments have been related to electromagnetic waves (active radar and now passive magnetotelluric), seismic waves (active & passive) and seismoelectromagnetic wave conversions. The processes studied concern environmental, hydrological or natural hazards issues, with a recent extension to a deeper scale (seismicity/fluid relations, volcanoes).

This work generally combines the acquisition and analysis of data acquired during numerous field campaigns in France and abroad (Italy, Antarctica, New Zealand, Laos, Ecuador, Turkey, Iceland in 2022) conducted on various objects (active faults, landslides, glaciers, aquifers, volcanoes). These full-scale data can be analyzed in relation to laboratory data and/or methodological developments. The latter have been proposed by combining theoretical and/or direct numerical modeling with inversion and scaling methodology related to rock physics and fluid substitution.
