PhD project, Dec. 2015 - Nov. 2018, ISTerre, Université Grenoble Alpes, France.

  • Title: Eulerian approach of Hamilton–Jacobi equation with a Discontinuous Galerkin Method in heterogeneous anisotropic media. Application to seismic imaging.
  • Supervisors: Jean Virieux, Ludovic Métivier.
  • Grant: SEISCOPE consortium.
  • Key words: Seismic wave traveltime; Eikonal equation; Numerical modeling; discontinuous Galerkin methods; Seismic anisotropy; Seismic tomography; Kirchhoff migration.

Master internship, July - Oct 2010, SAFEGE Research Department, Nanterre, France.

  • Title: Water leak detection and localization in a public drinking water supply.
  • Supervisor: Pierre-Antoine Jarrige.
  • Summary: Inside the research department of the firm of engineering consultants SAFEGE, I developed an inversion algorithm for detecting and locating a water leak or a burst in a drinking water network and I implemented it inside the in-house Piccolo software.

Master Thesis, Jan. - June 2010, MINES ParisTech, Fontainebleau, France.

  • Title: New localization of earthquakes of the 1998 seismic crisis at Piton de la Fournaise volcano, La Réunion Island, France, using an Eikonal solver and a global search method.
