The Institute of Earth Sciences (ISTerre) is one of the main laboratories of the Grenoble Observatory of the Sciences of the Universe. ISTerre is dedicated to the physical and chemical study of planet Earth. By combining the observation of natural objects, experimentation, and the modeling of complex phenomena, the institute analyzes the processes related to the major systems of Earth’s interior.
