The researchers from ISTerre and OSUG in “Girls Are Perfect for Science"

Our colleague Anne Socquet, a geophysics researcher at ISTerre, is one of the 48 women scientists featured in the wonderful book Girls Are Perfect for Science : Proof in 48 Portraits of Women, published in October 2025.

This book, created by the association Femmes & Sciences and the CNRS, highlights passionate women researchers from all fields : astrophysicists, biologists, mathematicians, engineers, climatologists… and of course, Anne, who shares her journey, her inspirations, and her vision of science.

Through the stunning portraits by Vincent Moncorgé, this project celebrates the diversity, curiosity, and boldness of the women who are advancing research.

A source of inspiration for all those women who dream of a career in science.
