International symposium "The climate needs space" (Toulouse)

The study of climate change has absorbed scientists for several decades. The public became aware of these issues thanks to the COP meetings, particularly COP 21 which led to agreements that are currently being signed by one country after another. Les 3èmes rencontres intitulées "Carottages continentaux : sondages lacustres" sont organisées avec le soutien du C2FN, de CLIMCOR et de l’INSU du 17 au 20 octobre à la Maison du Lac d’Aiguebelette - 73470 Novalaise.
Cette ANF (Action Nationale de Formation) s’adresse à tous les techniciens et ingénieurs de terrain, en charge ou devant prendre en charge tous types de sondages lacustres.

British Society of Rheology Midwinter meeting (Bristol)

British Society of Rheology Midwinter meeting will take place on 18/19th December in Bristol.
The theme of the meeting is "Rheology and flow of multiphase geological materials" and the goal is to open a dialogue between the geo-rheo community and the broader rheology community - hopefully to the benefit of both.
The meeting will focus particularly on the rheology of multiphase magma, and the rheology of granular flows.

La première école d’été "Granites" sur le thème des transferts magmatiques aura lieu à Orléans du 10 au 13 juillet 2017.
"Granites" bénéficie des soutiens de l’INSU, du LabEx VOLTAIRE et de l’Université d’Orléans.
