CGO Meeting and Training Afternoon at ISTerre

The Centre de Géologie de l’Oisans (CGO) is once again organizing a meeting and training session hosted by ISTerre.

Open to everyone

This afternoon event is open to all. Master’s students (depending on availability), PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers are especially encouraged to attend and exchange on science outreach topics.

There will be opportunities to get involved with the CGO through outreach days or conferences, a great way to enrich your professional experience through science communication.


Program


2:00 pm – Presentation of CGO and its various activities

2:30 pm – Talk by Fabienne Giraud (ISTerre) : Fossils as stratigraphic tools and paleoenvironmental indicators

3:15 pm – Talk by Jean-Emmanuel Sicart (IGE) : Melt processes and energy fluxes at glacier surfaces
