Scientific exchange between LGL-TPE & ISTerre in Lyon
These scientific meetings aim to strengthen exchanges between the two neighboring partner laboratories, encourage the sharing of ongoing research, and foster new collaborations in the Earth sciences.
Presentations may be given in either French or English, but presentation slides must be in English.
Programme
Thursday, 8 October
- ISTerre Keynote Seminar in the late morning (starting at 11:00 a.m., approximately 1.5 hours including questions) ;
- Joint scientific presentations in the afternoon (40 minutes including questions).
Friday, 9 October - Joint scientific presentations during the morning (40 minutes including questions).
Call for Contributions
Presentations may focus on existing or emerging collaborations, including joint research projects, co-supervised PhD theses, methodological developments, or other new initiatives between the two laboratories.
Pairs who did not present at the 2024 edition are particularly encouraged to submit a contribution, as are researchers who joined either laboratory since 2024.
Laboratory Platform Visits
Visits to or presentations of the laboratories’ analytical platforms and facilities (chemistry, mineralogy, collections, etc.) may also be organized, subject to the agreement of the platform managers.
These visits will be organized upon registration and may take place :
- on 8 October before the seminar, on the Doua campus ;
- on 9 October from 2:30 p.m. onwards.
All members of LGL-TPE and ISTerre are invited to participate and propose a presentation, including researchers, faculty members, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
