ISTerre/OSUG surveille la sismicité des Alpes en assurant le déploiement et la maintenance de stations sismologiques permanentes, constituant le réseau SISMalp.
ISTerre/OSUG monitors the seismicity of the Alps by deploying and maintaining permanent seismic stations, which together form the SISMalp network.
The instrumented sites are equipped with high-performance velocimeters and accelerometers, enabling the detection of all earthquakes of magnitude greater than 1 in the Northern Alps and the recording of vibrations generated by the largest earthquakes.
