Temporary In-Situ Experiments

We use temporary multi-physical in-situ experiments (seismological, magnetotelluric, electrical, geochemical, etc.) to explore objects within the cryosphere (glaciers, sea ice), lithosphere (Earth’s crust, subduction zones, volcanoes), hydrosphere (sedimentary basins, landslides, aquifers), and anthroposphere (reservoirs, geothermal systems, buildings, cities).

In this context, we manage the national mobile network of seismological stations SISMOB, which allows deployment of measurement stations over long periods (from a few months to several years), or immediately following a significant event (earthquake, landslide, volcanic eruption, etc.).
