o The technical team is composed of 5 engineers who support the research activity of the team in synthesis and characterization but also more broadly within ISTerre or in collaboration with national or international laboratories:

– Rachel Martin (IE)

o The scientific equipment of the team is distributed between several platforms:

- Geochemistry-Mineralogy platform: the platform brings together tools and know-how for preparation, synthesis, chemical analysis and characterization of synthetic or natural samples.

- IMAP platform: this platform gathers the solid characterization equipment associated to the MEET project.

- Other experimental devices complete the needs of the team:

• Hydraulic press with "piston-cylinder" allowing to carry out syntheses and phase equilibria (+/- fluid) at pressures up to 3.5 GPa and temperatures higher than 1000°C: contact Fabrice Brunet

o The team is also invested in the museographic space of the OSUG. This museum gathers collections of rocks, minerals and fossils. In addition to this gigantic collection, the permanent exhibition shows the functioning of natural systems and highlights observation tools. Contact : Emilie Janots
