Numerical tools used in THEIA
- ToCCo — developed by Rémy Monville. Local calculations of topographic coupling in rotating magnetohydrodynamic flows, including pressure, viscous and electromagnetic stresses. See Monville, Cébron and Jault (2025).
- SHINE — developed by Jérémie Vidal. Hydromagnetic eigenmodes of rotating fluids in ellipsoids, including compressible models. See Vidal and Cébron (2020), Vidal and Cébron (2021, acoustics) and Vidal and Cébron (2021, dynamos).
- SWAN — developed by Jérémie Vidal. Short-wavelength stability analysis of rotating flows, using local perturbations.
- SIREN — developed by Jérémie Vidal. Stability analysis of flows in ellipsoids using inertial eigenmodes.
- XSHELLS — developed by Nathanaël Schaeffer. Spectral simulations of rotating flows and magnetic fields in spherical geometry. See also Cébron et al. (2021).
