GIS - Geophysical instrumentations

The "service - Geophysical Instrumentation" department’s mission is to provide support and technical expertise to i) the ISTerre laboratory’s research projects related to instrumentation, ii) the National Observation Services and Resources of INSU and Epos-France, iii) the management of the G-Proge platform (geophysical instruments for teaching and research).

The GIS department is organized into two sections. An "observations" section includes the steering and management of actions and projects related to the National Observation Services, national resources, G-Proge, as well as all research projects involving field geophysical instrumentation. And a second part, “experimentations” which takes charge of, designs and develops the experiments, in connection with the instrumentation, carried out in the laboratory.
