Dynamics and cryoseismicity of the Astrolabe coastal glacier (Antarctica) and ice-ocean interaction

The project SEIS-ADELICE supported by IPEV (but also by INSU/LEFE and more recently by IRGA) aims at investigating the dynamics of the Astrolabe glacier in Terre Adélie and its interaction with the ocean activity by combining seismological and geodetic observations. During the last summer campaign in January 2022, deployments of seismic instruments have been performed on its grounding line, on stable ice around the glacier and on the ocean bottom in front of its terminus. This talk will allow presenting the objective of the project, the first deployments, the richness and quality of the recorded data, and the perspective relative to future deployments.
