Agnès Helmstetter honored in the magazine "La Recherche"

Published on May 29, 2015

Agnès Helmstetter, researcher in geophysics at ISTerre, is honored in a special report " The young guard of Science" of the magazine "La Recherche".
This young seismologist is interested in trigger mechanisms of earthquakes and their hazards. In order to detect and understand the warning signs of a landslide, an avalanche or an underground collapse, she studies, interprets and maps all seismic data of such events. If statistical studies are conducted for ten years in this field, her work (…)

2015 nomination at the French Academic Institute

Published on May 22, 2015

Alexander Sobolev and Peter Van der Beek, university professors at Joseph Fourier University and researchers at ISTerre, have been appointed senior members at the French Academic Institute (IUF)

Published on April 28, 2015

Published on April 24, 2015
