[Festival] 9th edition of the Rencontres Montagnes & Sciences

The Rencontres Montagnes et Sciences are back this year for their 9th edition! Organized by researchers from ISTerre and the IGE and financially supported by the OSUG, this festival offers a series of screenings and meetings around scientific adventure films in the mountains.
This year, the festival will be held at the Palais des Sports in Grenoble where two afternoons of screenings will be open to all at free prices (5€-15€, with free admission for minors and students in Grenoble). See (…)

URBASIS Winter School - Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology

Can mining make the world a greener place?

On the 3rd and 4th of December, an international scientific and societal event will be co-organized by two Horizon 2020 research projects: INFACT and PACIFIC (of which UGA is the principal coordinator), and the Natural History Museum in London. The aim of this online event is to bring together personalities with diverse backgrounds and points of view to talk about the place of mining activities in our societies.
