Symposium in memory of Claude Froidevaux

We are pleased to invite you to a one-day Symposium to honor the memory of Prof. Claude Froidevaux, which will be held at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, on Saturday June 11th, 2016.

Claude Froidevaux passed away last August, and we want to celebrate the major role he played in the development of geodynamics in France and in the world.

We invited several key speakers and past colleagues of Prof. Claude Froidevaux, in three fields of research to which Claude contributed with great success :
– Stress and strain in the lithosphere
– Mantle rheology
– Mantle and core convection

Posters are welcome and will be posted next to the Jean Jaurès room, where the talks will be given.
You can also send a short text, testimony, or recollection (photos welcome) to Henri-Claude.Nataf univ-grenoble-alpes.fr. These contributions will be collected and handed out to all participants of the Symposium.
